~ Introducing "Make Your Own Class!" ~

Want a class that you haven’t seen on our class schedule?
Do you have a friend that wants to take it with you?
Want us to find others to join in?

We do too! We’re introducing a new way of forming classes...making your own! Here’s what you do:

  1. Pick a topic, pattern, or project you would like to have a class for.
  2. Find a friend, co-worker, family member to take it with you.
  3. Contact us by email bobbinsnest@gmail.com with the following information: who, what, and when.
  4. We will work with you and let you know about how many hours we think the class will take, find a teacher, and advertise it on our blog letting our customers know the subject, times, and how many spaces are available.
  5. Stay tuned to the blog for class announcements!
  6. Each student pays just $20/hour for class and as always gets 10% off supplies bought for the class at our shop!

~Private Lessons~

Individual Rate - $25 per hour, per student.
*New* Group Rate- $15 per hour, per student with a group of 4 or more.

Adults Knitting, Sewing, Crochet, or Hand Embroidery: Need a little help on a tough project, but don’t see what you need on the schedule--or can’t make the date of a class? Don’t worry! Our instructors are available to help you work through a sewn tote bag, knit sweaters, crochet lace, or even a quilt!

Give us a call, let us know what you need, and we’ll pencil you in!

Kids Knitting

Learning to knit can be a great fun! Charlotte would love to work with your child to learn the basic skills and create a simple item of his or her choice. Private lessons work best for children ages 8 to 10, while teens may prefer to take a semi-private lesson with a friend. OR you may want to signup for a "Mom or Dad and Me" semi-private lesson.

Kids Sewing

Norine would love to work with your child to learn the basics of sewing and complete fun summer projects! Private lessons work best for children ages 10-12, while teens may prefer to take a semiprivate lesson with a friend.

Please Note:

  • There is a minimum of two students in all classes.

  • In order to guarantee your placement in a class full payment is required upon registration.

  • All student cancellations must be received no later than 48 hours before your class meets and you will be placed in the next available session or given a refund in the form of a store gift card. 

  • In the case of a last-minute cancellation or a no-show we will not issue a refund of any sort.  

  • We reserve the right to cancel a class in the event of instructor illness, low enrollment, and other emergency situations, issuing you a refund in the form of a store gift card or rescheduling the class.
