That's 12 hours a week of shopping for our non-local folks and an additional 4 hours a week for our Bay Area customers!  As the idea takes off (because we know it will) we will expand the hours as needed.  You will be able to see if Erin is "in" the when our eNest page goes live.

What can I buy on eNest?

Q.  What items will be available in the eNest?

A.  To start we will be offering our entire stock of Hazel Knits, Wool Candy, and Three Irish Girls yarns.  As we get further into it we plan on adding our fabrics as well.  You can find what's available in the eNest Collection on Flickr.  Erin can help you select needles, books, patterns, or other accoutrement too.  We are known for having the best book selection in the South Bay craft stores and the companies we carry are listed on our Products page.

Now, because we are a brick and mortar store, occasionally something may be bought off the shelf at the moment you buy it through the eNest.  We will do our best to keep incidents like these to a minimum.  If in the event this happens we will contact you (the eNest customer) immediately and offer you comparable products (maybe in a different color if we are out), to special order the item, or store credit.  We are sorry, but we will not be able to make a return to your credit card.  This will be handled on an individual basis.

Q.  How can I tell how much of an item you have?

A.  Just Skype in and ask.  If we don't have the quantity or amount you need in stock we are happy to place a special order with our fabulous vendors!

Q. How can I find how much the products cost?

A. We have a price list right here.

Q.  Will the eNest offer gift cards?

A.  Of course!  We can ring a gift card in any amount and we are even happy to spring for the stamp to send it to your loved one!  It will be sent in one of our Bobbin's Nest Studio gift enclosure cards with a current class schedule if the recipient is a local customer.

Q.  What about store sales, reward points, and the Groupon promotion?

A.  We will have eNest specials periodically.  Unless you are a local customer you will not be able to take advantage of Bobbin's Nest Studio's store sales or reward points.  You must be present to use your Groupon, so we're sorry we will not be able to honor those through the eNest.

Q.  How true are the colors of the products in the eNest Collection on Flickr?

A.  We try to make the colors of the pictures match the yarn as much as possible, however please note that monitors differ.

Q.  How will I know when the eNest is updated with new stock?

A.  Stay tuned through our blog, Facebook, and Twitter feeds!  We will let you know!

Q.  Can I have my eNest yarn wound?

A.  No problem, we this is our standard complimentary service, however there are absolutely no returns on wound yarn.  Once it is wound, you are bound.

Payment & Shipping

Q. Which credit cards does eNest accept?

A. Visa and Mastercard, please have your card with you when you call; we’ll need your security code and expiration date to process your order.

Q.  Is the eNest secure?

A.  Absolutely!  We take your security and privacy very seriously.  Erin will be Skypeing from her private office (not located in the store) and placing your orders personally through our existing system.  Your credit cards will be processed just as if you were standing in our store.  We have all sorts of security measures in place so you can be confident that your information is private.

Q.  Will the eNest be charging sales tax?

A.  Yes, we will be charging California sales tax on every product, but shipping is tax free!

Q.  How about eNest shipping?

A.  We will be using USPS Flat Rate Priority Shipping.  As soon as we calculate how many skeins of yarn we can cram into the flat rate boxes we will post the shipping rates on the eNest page.  International shipping will be available too through regular airmail. (Unfortunately there is no tracking option for International airmail, so please allow for up to two weeks for receipt.)  We will ship your packages with a receipt within 2 business days of ordering.  Your purchase will arrive nicely packaged, pet hair free, and of course from a smoke-free environment...wrapped in our pretty tissue, just as if you shopped in the store!

Returns

Q.  What about returns on items purchased through the eNest?

A.  It is very important that you are delighted with your purchase.  If you have any concerns about your order, please contact us right away as we'll do everything we can to ensure your satisfaction.

Returns will be handled on a case by case basis and you will be responsible for shipping fees on returned items.   Our normal return policy will apply:

Absolutely NO returns on books, needles/hooks, patterns, wound yarn, cut fabric, opened or used items.  Store credit on all other items.
